Also, I wanted to point out some important  French child-slang words that might come in handy:

“doudou”: literally “soft-soft”; a plush animal, doll, or blanket a child sleeps with.

“do-do”: the closest equivalent I can find is “beddy-bye”. So “fait do-do” would translate roughly speaking as “go beddy-bye” or “go sleepy-bye”.
